About Me

  • Name: Sola

  • Age: 31.415*

  • Location: Island City

  • Gender: Non Binary (they/them)

  • Birthday: 24 November

  • Language: [REDACTED], English

  • Likes: Tea, potato, puns

  • Dislikes: Rain, heights, tomato, nosy people

*Serious note: If you're concerned about my age for say, safety reasons, I'm in my thirties in human years

A Backstory:I used to be an adventurer, then I tookI was a mage who went through a lot of stuff and going through a lot of struggles until eventually had to quit their job.One day, a mage offered me to be involved with experimental works. She told me that it might help me heal, have more chance to find help and support that I need and find a better and safer place. So we moved together to an Island City and started a new life together.Oh my God, they are roommatesLong story short, some of those experiments leads me to this virtual space and that's how I become the most potato vtuber ever (not self-deprecation. Potatoes are good. Fight me)TL;DR Version: I was a mage, it didn't work out.If you're here looking for Deep Lore, I'm sorry. What I do here:I enjoy playing games in a relatively casual way. I enjoy games with stories in it, I also enjoy games that look nice and makes you feel good (or sad sometimes). I also enjoy spooky games sometimes and in that case, I'll try to put some warnings and I'll try my best to make your experience safe and comfortable.I make supportive, reassuring messages and reminders sometimes. Mostly because I need them but I hope they can help you too.Due to my mental health conditions, I post my stuff in irregular basis and stream without schedule. More on Health Notes below.A lot of what I do involves a lot more effort that happens mostly behind the scene, so I tend to throw immersions out of the window.Health notes:I'm diagnosed with anxiety, depression and PTSD and those mental conditions are affecting my physical health as well. Generally I have very limited energy and it can be hard for to do a lot of things that most people can easily do. I also generally have very low social meter and it takes a lot for me to trust others.A lot of experience with mental disorder is difficult to understand for most people so it's easy to feel isolated. While there's not much I can help, I try to share messages whenever I can and try to be more transparent about my conditions. While I generally try not to be too negative, keep in mind that it's not gonna be all good vibes only, sunshine and rainbows either. That said, keep in mind there are things that I rather to keep to myself for safety reasons so I hope you can respect my privacy and boundaries. At times I feel like it's a mistake to start vtubing. But I think it's unfair to think that you don't worth a damn thing, that you shouldn't try something even just to make yourself happy when it's hard even just to go through a day.So here I am.Gender and Pronoun notes
The TL;DR: I'm a Non Binary individual who go with they/them and gender neutral titles and terms, but I also feel pretty good using some masculine terms/titles.
But just to make it a bit clearer:

  • I use they/them. Mx. title. Gender neutral titles and terms.

  • I'm okay with a lot of masculine terms like Sir, Lad, etc

  • I don’t use he/him pronoun, though if someone accidentally use that, it would just be awkward for me, at worst.

  • There are masculine titles that just don’t work for me. Do NOT use Bro or Boy please.

  • Familial titles like Uncle, Dad, Grandpa etc are only reserved for close friends.

  • Honestly King is weird unless I’m currently singing that one Kanaria song.

  • I do NOT use feminine terms, titles and pronouns.

This is a part of my identity and like everyone else, I deserve to be respected, the same way I need to respect your identities. I don’t take kindly to misgendering and/or people who intentionally use the wrong pronouns/titles, even when they say they’re “joking”.Keep in mind that each non binary individual have their own pronouns and terms that they use! We view our gender (or lack of thereof) in diverse way, so be sure to respect that!

So hopefully I can maintain my space here in this little corner of virtual world. I may not always able to do something, but I hope my occasional presence still can brighten up your day.Thank you for your visit and I hope you enjoy your time here ^^

Stream Rules

This is the rules from my Twitch channel. Please follow them so we can all have good fun and also stay safe. Make sure you read them carefully!

  • Bigotry, hateful comments and other harmful behaviors are NOT welcomed here. This includes racist, homophobic, transphobic (and other LGBTQ+ related hateful comments), ableist remarks etc

  • No spamming

  • No spoilers. Sometimes I play games I haven't played and sometimes it's the first time for the audience too. Don't ruin the fun for everyone involved

  • No backseating. I may not be good at what I do but I want to try it with my own way. I will definitely ask if I need help/hints

  • Don't bring up other streamers/streams unless I mention it. I also ask NOT to bring me up on other's streams as well. This is a common manners among vtubers and I want to respect that

  • No self promo. There are lots of other platforms for that out there

  • If possible, don't go off-topic in chat. I tend to get distracted easily and this can disrupt the stream

  • Don't ask me to do certain things, say certain lines, etc. I'm aware not everyone intend to troll us or something like that, but I don't feel comfortable with this. It can be amusing seeing vtuber say some things but please remember we're people too

  • No typing in all-caps please! I don't feel comfortable when people type in all-caps. Please do note that on Twitch, this will trigger the StreamElement bot to put you on timeout and erase all your previous messages.

If you see someone breaking the rules, best to ignore them and block/report if necessaryWhile it's great to see people showing support against harmful behaviors, further engagement with people like this can disrupt the stream and make the experience less comfortable for everyone, me includedAlso please check out this VTuber Etiquette as well!I might add/modify the rules in the future as needed. Remember to be mindful of others and stay safe!

I like your accent! Where do you come from? Are you from [insert country here]?The short answer is "I live in Island City"The long answer: In the past I had bad experiences with people asking me about my accent and my location in general so I rather not disclose where I'm from. It has led me to situation where people prying further, not respecting my privacy and even make hateful and ignorant commentsI think a lot of streamers also rather not disclose this sort of information, especially VTubers. I choose not to disclose this out of safety concern and I hope you can respect thatWill you do collabs with me?Okay literally nobody asked me this but since it's such a.. prevalent thing (?) to do for VTuber, might as well make a statement for itI rather not be pushed into doing collabsThis is mostly because most games that I play are single player games and I don't find a lot of multiplayer games appealing. It's just my preferenceI also don't feel comfortable doing things like that with people I don't really know (or trust). Chances I'm more willing to do it with close friends that I trust and comfortable with. Related to the point below:How can we be friends with you?I rather not be pushed into friendship like that. Just because we know each other's names, it doesn't mean it's okay for you demand for my trust, information and privacy. That's not how friendship (or any relationship, really) works for me, it makes me very uncomfortable and even can make me feel very unsafeI know this can be strange for someone hoping to make people like themselves feel less alone, but there are many ways to connect to each other. I simply have my own ways to form bonds with others, is allAnd y'know, something something about parasocial relationshipWhat do you use to make text version of your voice/audio input? If you want to use it and need a term to look it up, it's called Closed Caption The one I use Web Captioner. There are many ways to include Closed Caption for streaming so I hope you can look it up and learn more!Do you role play?/Let's do RP!I don't do role plays and not comfortable pushed into doing thatNobody asked me this but I noticed there are people who just come into someone's stream pushing them into RP almost immediately without asking. That's not cool
